The 240, Phnom Penh, Cambodia

The 240 is a basically a small hotel, but they prefer to call themselves ’boutique accommodation’.  I stayed here during my last night in Phnom Penh. I got a room on the top floor for USD $ 50/ night, which I thought was reasonable. The staff were willing to help us carrying our luggage upstairs for us, so it was manageable. The room was clean. It had a small outdoor area. The shower had good water pressure + hot water. The mattress was a bit hard, but not the end of the world. If you come here you must check out Chocolate by The Shop, which is a short walk down the road.

The lobby at The 240.

Right next to the lobby is the restaurant, where a simple breakfast is served in the morning.

Several computers are available in the public area upstairs for guests to use.
